Class Rules 2017

4 & 6 Cylinder Stock Class

  • Anything that is factory built stock, full stock body, stock running gear, or a combination of stock components. Must be located in stock location.
  • Body and OEM suspension lifts allowed for tire clearance only.
  • Box must have steel construction, including headboard and floor. Made and removed as one unit. Must have exterior OEM panels or replacement OEM panels.
  • May run open exhaust.
  • No aluminum carburetor intakes except for OEM fuel injection systems.
  • Factory OEM aluminum heads may be used in conjunction with factory OEM fuel injection.
  • Shocks must be OEM mounted.
  • No aftermarket add ons except carburetors and headers (No fuel pumps or ignitions).
  • DOT approved tires, no cut tires allowed.
  • No gutting of interior. The dash may only be removed if the roll cage is closer to the firewall for safety at the discretion of the tech (17)
  • Glass- All glass and windshield MUST be in place at each event. In the event of a rollover, it must be replaced with glass or Lexan. (17)
  • Outside cosmetics- Can be removed. If they fall off, no need to be replaced (17)
  • Bumpers- Will allow to be replaced with tube bumpers. Minimum .120 wall DOM tubing or .1875 wall schedule 40 with a minimum size of 1 ½ ID. Must be 2 rows. To outside of body. (17)
  • Quick steer is allowed.
  • No turbos/ forced inductions (17)

 

8 Cylinder Stock Class

  • Anything that is factory built stock, full stock body, stock running gear, or a combination of stock components. Must be located in stock location.
  • Body and OEM suspension lifts allowed for tire clearance only.
  • Box must have steel construction, including headboard and floor. Made and removed as one unit. Must have exterior OEM panels or replacement OEM panels.
  • May run open exhaust.
  • ¼ “capped intake manifold vacuum test outlet must be provided.
  • Must have a minimum of 17 inches of vacuum at 1000 RMPs. Vacuum must be checked at each event.
  • Factory OEM aluminum heads may be used in conjunction with factory OEM fuel injection.
  • Shocks must be OEM mounted.
  • No aftermarket add ons except aluminum carburetor intakes, carburetors, fuel pumps, ignition boxes for carbureted engines only and headers.

  • No big blocks
  • No bigger than 5.9 L(16)
  • Must run pump fuel.
  • No turbos/ forced inductions
  • No 4/6 cyl engines allowed

 

Super Stock Class

  • Anything that is factory built stock, full stock body, stock running gear, or a combination of stock components.
  • Bodies must meet stock criteria.
  • May run open exhaust.
  • Big blocks and enhanced engines allowed, but no nitrous or forced induction systems. No turbos. (17)
  • Street DOT tires, no cut tires.
  • Upright headers and 2-4 barrel carburetor combinations are allowed.
  • Quick steer is allowed.
  • All diesel engines are permitted.
  • No gutting of interior. The dash may only be removed if the roll cage is closer to the firewall for safety at the discretion of the tech. (17)
  • Glass- All glass and windshield MUST be in place at each event. In the event of a rollover, it must be replaced with glass or Lexan. (17)

4 & 6 Cylinder ProLite Class

  • Full stock body with roll bar to frame (minimum 4 points) or fully caged.
  • No nitrous or superchargers, forced induction systems or boosters or turbos for 6 cyl only. (17)
  • 4cyl trucks allowed 1 engine enhancement only.
  • May run open exhaust.
  • No tire restrictions.
  • Quick steer is allowed.
  • Must have a minimum 5 point harness is mandatory.

 

ProStock Class

  • No nitrous or forced induction systems. No turbos for 8 cyl engines. (17)
  • DOT cut tires are allowed.
  • Window nets must be removable and must have grab handles for navigator.
  • Scatter shield, blanket, steel bell housing or flex plate shield, must cover flex plate area and have SFI specs, not homemade.(14)
  • All trucks must be fully caged.
  • Upright headers and 2-4 barrel carburetor combinations are allowed.
  • Minimum 5 point harness is mandatory.
  • Quick steer is allowed.
  • 6 cyl Prolite truck will be allowed with 1 engine enhancement (17)

 

Modified Class

  • Anything goes.
  • Window nets must be removable and have grab handles for the navigator.
  • Scatter shield, blanket, steel bell housing or flex plate shield, must cover flex plate area and have SFI specs, not homemade.
  • All trucks must be fully caged.
  • Minimum 5 point harness is mandatory.
  • Quick steer is allowed

 

2WD PRO Class (New for 2017)

  • 2 wheel drive trucks or SUV’s only.
  • NO cars or vans
  • Minimum ground clearance to frame must be 7”
  • Mud flaps must be a maximum of 4” from the ground
  • Full locked diff. (ex: spool, Lincoln locker, etc.)
  • Maximum 24” engine set back
  • No airbags (air shocks permitted)
  • 4 shocks max & 4 bump cans Max per truck
  • Must have a fuel cell
  • Must maintain truck appearance from the rear of the cab to the front bumper. This includes doors, front fenders, hood, and cab. OEM panels, fibreglass, tin etc.
